Shalini isn’t a career politician. Shalini is a dynamic multitalented individual; who’s seen firsthand how our systems are failing everyday people. She has maturity and experience of life both within her broad work experience spanning two decades and her diverse community living.

Shalini is a self- made woman and a leader in her own rights, being the first woman of her large family to have professional qualification and make an international career. She migrated to Australia in her early twenties. At a young age, she demonstrated persistence, adaptation and success mindset.

Shalini is a dedicated community leader, advocate, and long-term resident of Gumdale, running for Bonner, to bring transparent leadership, real solutions, and a people-first approach to public service. She has in the past few years, represented on community matters by publicly speaking out in forums, public protests and behind closed doors at ministerial levels. She is committed to bringing harmony in her community with courage and determination.

Shalini is a grassroot level change maker. She volunteers with associations for campaigns and organises workshops that fosters wellbeing. Shalini has studied yoga, meditation and advocates for women solo travels. She travels regularly on self- study tours with a focus on studying Hindu civilization and its culture. This gives her a unique perspective on looking at society at large.

With a background in Government Audit and Risk Advisory in senior positions both at Federal and State level, spanning over a decade, Shalini understands how the government machinery works. She has the clarity and a vision on the federal policy making. She brings a fresh modern Libertarian view to government framework as she truly believes in Libertarian ideology and understands the urgency for change.

Shalini took the entrepreneur leap after a decade of public service and made that another of her success story. Her business played a significant role during the bushfires of 2019-2020 by facilitating supply chain logistics solution to remote affected communities. It’s now a proud Australian family-owned business.

With fresh energy, new ideas, and a commitment to justice, transparency, and compassion, Shalini is running to represent the next chapter of leadership: honest, inclusive, and driven by people—not power.
